About Me
Hi, I'm Bobby Dellarocco. I'm an audio engineer and producer currently working out of Sweetwater Studios. Originally from Boston, I found my way to the Midwest by way of Capital University in Columbus Ohio, where I earned my Bachelor's in Music Production and Technology.
I found my passion for music when I started learning the guitar at age 13, which was quickly followed by learning how to program drum beats to play along with. From there I fell down the audio engineering rabbit hole with both recording as well as programming and sequencing.
I've always enjoyed creating music, whether it be rock, dance, metal, or country. Though I love creating my own music, I also love taking the artist hat off and putting on my engineering hat and helping the artist achieve the vision they had in their mind come to life in a song.
Beyond writing music, I found a love for sound design and creating the elements that go into an artist's song. As of now, I created over 10,000 samples that can be heard in music, tv, and movies.
Along with music, I've also found a passion for teaching and education. I've taught in a more traditional classroom setting at a high school level as well as for Purdue University. I have also given private 1-on-1 classes through Sweetwater's Academy of Music. I also have released video tutorials on sound design and audio production in my free time as a resource for other creatives.
In my spare time, other than music, I enjoy woodworking, biking, photography, videography, and hiking. If you have any questions for me, please don't hesitate to reach out through the contact forum below.
